Kotoko's Burkina Faso international striker Ahmed Toure has opened the gate for another controversy after he promised to sign for rivals Hearts of Oak  in the future.

The 27-year-old came close to signing for the Phobians before abandoning talks to join arch-rivals Asante Kotoko in a controversial move.

Hearts fans angrily reacted to the club's attitude and claim he used the club as a bait to join Kotoko. But the Ivorian-born has dispelled the claims and insisted he chose Kotoko due to breakdown in negotiations.

"But I still have ambition for playing for Hearts of Oak and I believe that I will officially sign for them one day. But for now, i am going to give my all to Asante Kotoko," he told Sports Crusader.

"It wasn’t a deliberate action, but like I said earlier, I am a businessman and will go along with any Club that will satisfy my terms."

Toure has showed great scoring form in off season games for Kotoko.
