Ahmed Toure during his flying days with Kotoko

Striker Ahmed Toure claims to be in possession of vital documents which will finalize his exit from Asante Kotoko.
The 24-year-old last month claimed he has signed for Ivorian second-tier side Athletic FC Adjame and was only awaiting verification and the transfer of his ITC from the Ghana FA.
Kotoko however remained resolute that the Ivorian was still their player and that they had no immediate intentions of selling him off much less sanctioning a move.
The 2010/11 Ghana Premier League’s MVP now says he has obtained the necessary documents from Kotoko which has since been sent to Fifa to ratify his move.
“I have my release letter signed by Kotoko chairman and therefore all documents have been taken to Fifa so I am waiting,” he said.
Toure struggled to get into the side last term after an explosive campaign the season before.
He was punished for overstaying a compassionate leave at the beginning of last season – a situation which has evolved into his current problems with the Ghanaian champions.
