Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu got on the score-sheet for Udinese who got off the mark with a morale-boosting 3-1 victory over Parma in the Italian Serie A on Sunday evening.
The 22-year-old waltzed the ball into the net in the 12th minute to open the scoring for Les Zebrettes at the Stadio Communale Fruili.
A moment of madness from the Parma defender Mattia Cassani fetched the opening goal for Udinese.
Cassani’s attempted clearance came off the shin of Badu who jealously guided the ball into the net to register his first goal of the season for Udinese.
Badu will arrive in Ghana with high hopes ahead of the crucial World Cup qualifier against Zambia after he scored for his club.
