Asamoah starts life at Juventus
By Ameenu Shardow
Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has backed his former Udinese teammate Kwadwo Asamoah to be a big hit at Juventus.
Asamoah, 23, earned a move to the Serie-A holders after an impressive season with the Zebras last term.
His mega-dollar move to the Old Lady has however raised concerns on whether he will be able to break into the first team with the likes of Andrea Pirlo, Claudio Marchissio and Arturo Vidal on top of their game.
But Agyemang-Badu says Asamoah has all it takes to make it with any top side especially when it has to do with a league he has experience playing in.
“Personally, I love people who love challenges in their life,” he told Accra-based Radio XYZ.
“It is a step forward for him and he has to cope with it, whether it will be difficult or not, he has to cope with it.
“He has a good character, he is well talented, he has played here for at least four or five years and therefore knows how Italian football is.
“So he is not going to suffer. He has to play his normal game and do his own job and when he gets the chance he will deliver.”
Asamoah spent four seasons at Udinese before joining Juventus this summer in a move he describes as a dream alongside Mauricio Isla.
