Kwadwo Asamoah has been instrumental in Juventus' recent successes

Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah will not move to English side Chelsea as he is happy with his stay with Juventus, his agent has revealed.

The utility player has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge following his excellent performances for the Italian top-flight.

Despite being linked with several clubs in Europe and Chelsea, Claudio Vagheggi insists his client will not be moving to the English Premier League.

The agent says Juventus are keen on extending his contract following his sterling performances since moving to the club from rivals Udinese.

“Yes, we are talking with leaders of Juventus who also want to renew his contract,” Vagheggi told TuttoJuve.

“Chelsea for Asamoah? My client is doing well with Juventus, one of the biggest clubs in the world, what matters for him is the field and he is not thinking at all to change teams.”

Asamoah join Juventus from Udinese two seasons ago and has excelled at his unusual left-back position.
