Afum scores for Smouha in pre-season

Samuel Afum scored for FC Smouha

Ghanaian striker Samuel Afum scored for Egyptian side FC Smouha in their 4-0 win over second-tier Saudi side Al Jeel in a pre-season friendly on Wednesday in Alexandria. 

The 23-year-old came off the bench in the second half to grab the third goal for Shawky Garib after Ahmed Hosni and Mostafa Gaafar had given them a 2-0 lead.
The former Hearts of Oak striker latched on to a through pass from Gaafar before rounding up the goalkeeper to slot in the empty net.
Afum will be released by the club’s to visit his newly-born daughter and the wife in Accra.
