Switzerland-based striker Samuel Afum sent a reminder of his magnificent attacking form in the Swiss Super League by scoring the opener for Young Boys in their 4-2 defeat to FC Zurich on Sunday afternoon.
The attacker highlighted his devastating form by grabbing the first goal for Young Boys who threw away their early lead to succumb to a 4-2 home defeat to visiting Zurich at the Stade de Suisse Wankdorf.
Boys were hoping register their second straight win but a resilient Zurich side recovered from an Afum sixth minute opener to stun them 4-2.
Midfielder Rapha Nuzzolo missed his kick and Afum was on point to show him how to do it.
He latched onto the ball and proded the ball home with a clinical finish to record his fourth goal of the season.
The 22-year-old was snubbed by Ghana coach James Kwesi Appiah for the upcoming 2014 World Cup qualifying double-header against Sudan and Lesotho.
Afum lasted the entire duration of the match.
