Afriyie Acquah played his first game for Parma on Saturday but lost against Juventus

Ghanaian midfielder Afriyie Acquah was on the losing end on his Serie-A debut for Parma against Juventus on Saturday night.
The 20-year-old lasted 57 minutes but was unable to help his side avoid a 2-0 defeat to the champions.
The ex Mine Stars and DC United player was fielded to add more protection to the back for against an expected swamp of attacks away to the Champions.
Juve nevertheless were able to unlock the Parma defence with a 54th minute goal through Stephane Lichtsteiner.
Andrea Pirlo doubled the lead four minutes later following a goalkeeping mistake by Antonio Mirante.
Acquah who arrived this summer on laon from Palermo fared quite well in the game until he was replaced in the 57th minute by Sotiris Ninis.
He however picked up a yellow card after just 24 minutes of play.
