AFCON 2015: Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan targets South Africa's "weak points"
Asamoah Gyan is seeking to exploit the weak points of South Africa

Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has respect for South Africa's skill and pace but says they have "weak points" that can be exploited when the two sides clash tomorrow.

The nations will contest their final Africa Cup of Nations Group C tie on Tuesday with a quarter-final place up for grabs.

Bafana Bafana have to beat the Black Stars and hope that Senegal defeat Algeria to advance to the next stage of the CAF showpiece.

If Algeria win, Bafana need to thrash Ghana to get their goal difference up.

“They keep possession, they are very fast and create a lot of chances,” Gyan said in an exclusive interview ahead of the crunch meeting in Mongomo, Equatorial Guinea.

“For me personally they are a danger, one of the trickiest opponents in our group. They can create a lot of problems with their skill.

“This is where we will need to be watchful, stay focused and try and play them at their own game. We can beat them, they have weak points.”

Gyan, who has bad to battle a bout of malaria but proved his country’s hero on Friday with a dramatic last-gasp goal against Algeria, says the win has given his side the necessary drive to face Bafana with renewed confidence.
