AFCON 2015: Cameroon to open camp on 5 January in Yaounde

The Indomitable Lions will kick off their preparation for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Yaoundé on January 5.

A 25-player squad will regroup at the Mont-Febé hotel, with two training sessions scheduled at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium on January 6.

Stéphane Mbia and his teammates will play their first warm-up friendly against DR Congo at the ‘Centre d’Excellence de la CAF’ in Mbankomo on January 7 before heading to Libreville, Gabon, for the second stage of their preparation.

Cameroon are then set to battle South Africa in Libreville on January 11 before facing a third opponent three days later.

The Lions will travel to Malabo, Equatorial Guinea on January 16, four days prior to the kick-off of their continental campaign in Group D against Mali.

They will then face Guinea and Côte d’Ivoire on the same ground of Nuevo Estadio de Malabo.
