Burkina Faso will camp in Nelspruit, South Africa, ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations Equatorial Guinea 2015 that will take place from January 17 to February 8.

The Stallions are no stranger to the venue, having enjoyed a five-match unbeaten run at the Mbombela Stadium during the 2013 edition of the continental showpiece before losing the final to Nigeria in Johannesburg.

“This town brought us a lot of happiness and made us feel very welcome in 2013. It is important that the players feel comfortable during their preparation,” Burkina coach Paul Putt told APA.

“We need to prepare in total serenity not to concede goals. It is what we did in 2013 and we finished as the best defensive side in the competition,” the Belgian added.

The Stallions are expected to arrive in Nelspruit on January 2 or 3.

They will kick off their Group A campaign against Gabon in Bata on January 17, before facing hosts Equatorial Guinea on the same ground on January 21 and Congo in Ebebiyin four days later.
