Head coach Paul Put has named a provisional 24-man squad on Tuesday and should arrive at the base on 02 January.
The 2013 losing finalists he Stallions have lined up friendlies against Swaziland and Botswana on the 10 and 13 of January before leaving for their base in Bata the next day.
Burkina Faso are in Group A at the Nations Cup where they will face hosts Equatorial Guinea, Gabon and Congo-Brazzaville.
