Ghana winger Christian Atsu insists the Black Stars are not intimidated by Algeriaââ¬â¢s fine form at the Africa Cup of Nations.
The Black Stars must beat the current Group C leaders, who beat South Africa in their opener, to revive their campaign.
Ghana were outplayed by Senegal on Monday as they let in a late goal to lose 2-1 in Mongomo.
Atsu believes his side will come good against Les Fennecs.
ââ¬ÅAlgeria are a very good team. We know that they have very good individuals who are playing in great clubs, but it doesnââ¬â¢t mean anything,â⬠the on-loan Everton player told lebuteur.com
ââ¬ÅThey managed to beat South Africa which means that they are a strong side even if they showed some weaknesses that make us feel that they are within our reach.
ââ¬ÅAfter their opening victory they have a psychological advantage, but I donââ¬â¢t think the game will be easy for the Algerians. I am convinced that they are afraid of us. We are Ghana.
ââ¬ÅIt is going to be a tough battle against a great Algerian side who took an option for the qualification. It is clear that we are going to face a team who are doing well with strong individuals. But we donââ¬â¢t fear Algeria.
"We will fight to the end because we must win, we have no other choice if we want to qualify.ââ¬
