Aduana Stars expect first choice goalkeeper Stephen Adams to be fit for their next league match against leaders AshantiGold on 08 March.

Adams has since three league matches due to a minor injury and expected to resume this weekend.

But the club have squashed reports he is set for a lengthy lay-off.

“Oh it is just a minor injury is not an injury that can rule him out for long, we wanted to take some precautionary measure on him and that is why he didn’t play the Hearts game,” the club’s Chief Executive is quoted by Albert Commey.

Aduana Stars are second on the league table and six points behind leaders AshantiGold.
