Godfred Saka says he wants to move to Hearts of Oak

In-demand Aduana Stars defender Godfred Saka has told his club that he wants leave to the club for Accra-based giants Hearts of Oak. The former African champions have slapped in an offer to sign the player from the Dormaa-based club.

Aduana have received several offers from clubs across the country seeking to sign the strong centre-back from the former league champions.

Champions League campaginers Kotoko, Medeama, Berekum Chelsea and AshGold were all said to be interested in the defender.

But Saka says he wants to join the Phobians to after loyally serving Aduana Stars for the past four season.

“I have served Aduana diligently for four seasons and faced many challenges," Saka said.

"I have achieved it all here and there’s no extra urge for me so I’m seeking a new challenge in a new environment.

"I have chosen Hearts of Oak as my preferred destination and informed the Aduana Stars management.”

GHANAsoccernet.com source within Aduana Stars say the club will approve the move to Hearts of Oak denying the other clubs of the chance of signing him.

Saka is regarded as one of the best defenders in the Ghana top-flight.
