Aduana coach Ameyaw plays down title talks

Aduana head coach, right, has cooled talks about his side's title prospects

Aduana Stars head coach Kwabena Ameyaw has cooled talks about his side’s title prospects.

The ‘Fire club’ lead the Glo Premier League log with 22 points from 11 games and are yet to taste defeat since losing 2-0 at Liberty in October.

Despite the 2009/10 champions’ impressive form run in the league, trainer Ameyaw has watered down high expectations.

“It’s early days yet. We can’t say that because we are on top of the table now, we are going to win the league but definitely we are going to be contenders,” he told Accra-based Pravda Radio.

The Dormaa-based side play guest to giants Accra Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
