Aduana Stars coach Abdul Rahman Ameyaw admits his team was just not good enough in their 3-2 defeat to Hearts of Oak on Wednesday.

The Fire club put in a spirited display especially in the dying embers of the game when they went in search of the equalizer at 3-2 down.

They however failed in this bid despite putting up a good challenge against a Hearts side that was desperate for the win to end their losing streak.

Aduana coach Rahman Ameyaw concedes his side didn’t give off the extra bit needed to get at least a point in the game on Wednesday.

“We did our best hear but clearly our best wasn’t enough,” he said.

“We played all the game but unfortunately we concede unnecessary goals.

“This demoralized us and they [Hearts] took advantage of it.”

Aduana still maintain their second position in the First Capital Plus League despite the defeat to Hearts after nine round of matches.
