Ghanaian midfielder Enoch Adu Kofi is looking ahead to his first Uefa Champions League game full of optimism.
The 22-year-old will be a certain starter for Nordsjaelland when they visit Shakhtar Donetsk on Wednesday.
The Danish champions who are making only their maiden appearance in Europe’s premier club football competition are looking to cause a major stir haven been drawn in a tough group alongside Chelsea, Juventus and Shakhtar.
And the Farum-based side’s midfield cog is already looking to a flying start on Wednesday.
“We know it will be very tough but this is football and we are determined to treat every game with all seriousness in order to get wins,” Adu Kofi told GHANAsoccernet.com.
“We travel to Ukraine tomorrow (Tuesday) and the good thing is that everyone is fit and ready for the game.
“We will work very hard and hopefully we will get the win to start our campaign on a strong footing.”
Adu Kofi just last week signed a two-year extension to his deal at Norsdjaelland.
