Adu Kofi, right with Chelsea captain John Terry, is delighted with his move to Club Brugge
Ghana midfielder Enock Adu Kofi is delighted with his move to Belgian side Club Brugge.
The 22-year-old is on the verge of sealing three-year move to the Jan Breydelstadion after passing medicals on Tuesday.
Former Villarreal boss Juan Carlos Garrido, who is manager at Brugge has lauded the capture of the former Nordsjælland box-to-box midfielder.
Adu who was a member of Ghana’s 2007 Fifa U-17 World Cup squad that finished fourth in South Korea, is over the moon with the move.
“I feel very good about the move and I’m happy for the chance because this is a fantastic club,” he told Ghanasoccernet.com.
“I thank God for opening this door for me.”
The former OG Nice won the Danish Superliga in the 2011-12 season and helped Nordsjælland to Danish Cup glory.
He also played in the Uefa Champions League with Nordsjælland in a group that featured title holders Chelsea, Juventus and Shakhtar Donetsk.
Good move
He is an excellent passer of the ball. A deep- lying playmaker like Arteta & Alonso with Pirloesque brain to read & build an attack. I wish him the Best at Brugge.
He looks like a promising young player and we heard nothing but good about him. We will welcome him with open arms and appreciate that he cherishes the chance to come to us. We look forward to see him sign with us asap and to see him play in our beloved colours. Greetings from Bruges
