Albert Adomah happy to grab his first goal for Ghana

Winger Albert Adomah is delighted to have scored his first goal for Ghana in the 4-2 win over Tunisia on Sunday.

The 25-year-old came off the bench to wrap up a flamboyant second half display of the Black Stars in the friendly win in Abu Dhabi.

Ghana had to claw back from two goals down to snatch the win which will put the team in very high spirits ahead of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Bristol City star however is basking in the glory of scoring his first international goal for the Black Stars.

“I haven’t scored a goal for Ghana so it was my debut goal and hopefully I can carry on and I score more goals,” he said.

“As a winger I am here to create and therefore scoring is a bonus.

“It feels even better when it helps the team win, I am over the moon.”

The Black Stars are now expected to wrap up their preparations in the UAE and travel to South Africa on Wednesday – four clear days before their Group B opener against DR Congo.

Ghana aims at winning its first Nations Cup trophy after 31-years in the competition that kicks of this Saturday.
