Ghana winger Albert Adomah scored the opener for Bristol City who defied the odds and produced a magnificent display to beat automatic promotion hopefuls Middlesbrough 3-1 at their own backyard.

Adomah who was sparkling through out the entire regulation minutes registered the opener for the Robins but Ishmael Miller pecked the scoring for Boro.

Joe Bryan hit the byline and located Adomah, whose effort from just inside the six-yard box squirmed through Steele.

The Black Stars winger then turned the architect in 89th minute as he set up substitute Steven Davies for a priceless victory.

The win ends Bristol City's 11-game winless run in the Npower Championship.
