Adomah on fire as Bristol City shock Middlesbrough in Championship

Posted On Saturday, 24th November 2012

Albert Adomah scored the opener for Bristol City

Ghana winger Albert Adomah scored the opener for Bristol City who defied the odds and produced a magnificent display to beat automatic promotion hopefuls Middlesbrough 3-1 at their own backyard.

Adomah who was sparkling through out the entire regulation minutes registered the opener for the Robins but Ishmael Miller pecked the scoring for Boro.

Joe Bryan hit the byline and located Adomah, whose effort from just inside the six-yard box squirmed through Steele.

The Black Stars winger then turned the architect in 89th minute as he set up substitute Steven Davies for a priceless victory.

The win ends Bristol City’s 11-game winless run in the Npower Championship.

if quincy is not going to Afcon then Adomah must be the right winger we need at Afcon.

  2. GH FUO, THINK BIG!!! says:

HE ALWASY FLOS AGAINST AFRICAN OPPOSITION.AFCON BE BUGA BUGA TOURNAMNT RESERVED FOR KPEY OR KANWE PLAYERS….IM PRAYING ABEYIE GETS BETTER BEFORE THE TOURNAMNT. HE IS VERY EXPERIENCED AT THAT POSITION. ATSU AND ABEYIE ON THE FLANKS WILL BE UNSTOPPABLE

  3. theprince says:

I prefer quincy rather’ i dont see anything extraordinary about this player. He always flop when giving the chance

  4. keith from germany says:

adomah aint my kind of player but that doesnt mean he is bad at all.
as coach he will never be my player becuz we have alot of his type in the premier league back home in ghana.
guys dont get me wrong, but i guess quincy owusu-abeyie is far better than adomah n abeyie is used to more top-fligth soccer tahn adomah.
i watched the cape verde game n adomah was always passing the ball back instead of trying to take on a cape verdians defenders.
in the cape verde game he made alot of tactical mistakes n gave the ball easily away.
i kno that being a coach is not an easy job n i certainly respect AA FOR THE JOB HE IS DOING but some kind of players he call for the stars dont merit their place.
one guy i will like to see is the new dutch soccer sensation of twente edwin gyasi who is being praised by the dutch press as well as the german soccer megazine kicker.
that dude is a pure n ntural dynamic winger.his style of play resembles ramires of chelsea.
anyways congrats adomah on ur goal against middlesborough.

  5. real sabacious says:

Whilst some players are performing week in week out for their respective clubs to merit a call into the stars.Inkoom and Derek boateng keeps on rusting in the stars for dipro and yet will still get a call up ahead of active and inform players.what WORLD!!CONGRAT BRO!

  6. GH FUO, THINK BIG!!! says:

MARK IT ON THE WALL. IF APPIAH CANT HAVE THE BALLS TO CALL PLAYERS STRICTLY ON MERIT THEN GH SHOULD FORGET ABOUT WINING THE AFCON TROPHY. WE HAVE THE PLAYERS TO WIN, BUT IF HE WILL RELY ON HIS FOOLISH INSTINCTS AND EMOTIONS LIKE A GIRL, HE WILL COME HOME EMPTY HANDED. JUST LAST YR U TOOK PLAYERS LIKE TAKYI, ADOMAH, JORDAN AYEW, ABU, INKOOM TO AFCON 2012 AND WAT DID WE GET IN RETURN? DEREK BOATENG, POAINSTIL…AND U ARE DOING THE SAME THING AGAIN IN 2013? IDIOT…MUNTARI…TWEAAA
