Adams thrilled with Chelsea return

Posted On Monday, 7th January 2013

Saddick Adams is delighted to return to action for Berekum Chelsea

Striker Saddick Adams could not have asked for more from his Berekum Chelsea return after staying out of action since November.

The 23-year-old former Ghana U17 star striker broke his ankle bone during the Chelsea training session in late November.

But Adams quickly went about making an impact on his return by setting up defender Edward Kpodo for Chelsea’s equaliser in the one-all stalemate against AshGold at the Len Clay Stadium on Sunday.

“I’m not that crazy about the performance yesterday but I think it was nightmarish for the AshGold defence,” he told Ghanasoccernet.com.

“I have to keep my focus and score as many goals as I can when the second round comes in.

“I have to work even harder to fulfill the purpose for which I joined this club.
