Ghana goalkeeper Adam Larsen Kwarasey has decided against signing a contract extension with current club Stromsgodset, according to his father.

The 26 year-old, who led Stromsgodset to their first ever-Norwegian title in seven years, revealed he was seeking a new adventure after almost a decade at the club.

With his contract coming to an end after the game against Molde this weekend, his father Jerry Franklin Kwarasey says his son has decided to move to a bigger league.

"I can tell you that when I was leaving Norway last week, he Kwarasey had decided it was time he moved on to a bigger league," he told Africanfootball.com

"There has been offers from England and other big clubs across Europe but you know Kwarasey he prefers it is officially done before commenting.

"Blackburn in England have also inquired and I am sure he will weigh all options before making a concrete decision.

"As at now he has decided it was ok that he moved from Norway."

The agile shot stopper is expected to return to the Black Stars for the first time this month for the final 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers since Ghana's chaotic World Cup campaign in Brazil.
