Ghana goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey expects Turkey to provide the Black Stars with the litmus test in Wednesday’s international friendly.
The Black Stars will use the friendly against the Turks in Istanbul as a dress rehearsal for next month’s crucial World Cup group decider against Zambia in Kumasi.
The stromsgodset captain is confident the game will serve a good purpose.
“It is going to be a difficult game. Turkey is a good team. They have a very strong league and a lot of good players playing across Europe,” the 25-year-old said
“We should just use this game to prepare for the Zambia match in September.
“We should try to have a good match and get positive experience ahead of that match. We shouldn’t focus too much about the result. We should just get ourselves ready.”
The shot-stopper expressed his joy with his return to the team after missing June’s double header against Lesotho and Sudan
“It feels great. I was out for the two matches in June and I was happy to see the team win both games,”
“ I am just happy to be back and I hope I can contribute to see the team move forward.” he added
