AC Milan reject Celta Vigo deal for Adiyiah

Spanish side Celta Vigo submitted a request on Wednesday to have the world youth best player for six months.

But the Serie A giants flatly turned down the offer for the Black Stars striker insisting he will return to the club immediately after the African Cup of Nations in Angola.

Celta Vigo made the offer to Milan thinking that he was not in the immediate plans of the coach Leonardo but they were rejected.

This means the AC Milan coaches have Adiyiah in their plans for the coming season and could be in the plans for a senior side place.

Adiyiah joined AC Milan late last year after excelling at the World Youth Championship in Egypt.

He finished as the tournament's best player and top scorer which prompted interest from top clubs across Europe.

But AC Milan won the race to sign him, promising more first team opportunities.
