Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari has been registered by AC Milan for the second half of the UEFA Champions League. 

The 28-year-old was excluded from the initial list submitted before the start of the competition because of injury.

Muntari picked up a knee injury while on holidays in his native Ghana and spent close to six months in the treatment.

He has fully recovered but he is yet to play his first match after the winter break.

Muntari’s Milan face Barcelona in the round of 16 stage of the UEFA Champions League.
