Ghana ace Sulley Muntari is fired up for the Milan Derby on Sunday against his former side Inter Milan.

The midfielder has missed Milan's last two Serie A fixtures due to suspension and injury but has returned to training the last three days.

Muntari has given the Rossoneri a boost and has revealed coach Fillipo Inzaghi is getting the best from the players to win on Sunday.

“We are improving and must continue along this path,” midfielder Muntari told Milan Channel.

“The derby means so much for us, for the table, but also for our self-confidence. We must give our all for our fans. It is going to be a very important match and we’ll do everything to win.

“This is a unique event and therefore means a huge amount in the city. We’ve certainly been very focused and concentrated on the game. We’ve got to run and fight to the end, not think of what could go wrong.”

Preparations have been forced to change over the last few days, as Inter sacked Coach Walter Mazzarri to bring in Roberto Mancini.

“Mancini is a great Coach who has done well everywhere. He will have an influence, but he won’t be the one playing on the pitch. It all depends on the players,” continued Muntari.

“Inzaghi is not acting any different to usual, as he’s always tense and every week from Monday to Sunday he’s constantly on our backs.

“He is our guide and we have to follow him if we want to do well.”

Muntari has scored two goals in eight appearances for Milan this term.
