AC Milan boss Allegri backs Muntari to hit top form

Posted On Wednesday, 19th December 2012

Sulley Muntari has been backed to find his old form

AC Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri has backed Sulley Muntari to rediscover his old form.

The 28-year-old Ghanaian super star returned to the pitch for the first time last week after recovering from a lengthy knee injury.

The former Sunderland and Udinese man is however yet to hit the sparkling old form after featuring in two matches in the Seria A so far.

With midfielder Niger De Jong sidelined for a number of weeks, Milan are keen on Muntari regaining full fitness.

The Milan boss is confident the Black Stars enforcer will return to his old self  in no time.

“Muntari needs to improve by January we can see the old Muntari back,” Allegri said

Muntari joined Milan from rivals Inter last season.
