Abdul Salam Yakubu: President of New Edubiase “We will spoil Ashgold party”

President of Edubiase football club Abdul Salam Yakubu, is upbeat about his side’s chances against Ashgold this weekend.

Edubiase take on Ashanti Gold who have had a stellar start to the league season and have picked up 18 points from seven games.

The Bekwai based club are recovering from an accident they suffered on Sunday night after a friendly game with Storm academy.

Despite the disruption Abdul Salam says they are up for the game.

“The team is recovering and the entire technical team is looking forward to the game,” Salam told Accra based Citi FM

“We are seeking postponement for the elite club competition that will afford us enough time gear up for the game.”

“It’s a derby  and I am sure will spoil their party.”
