A Kenyan Man United fan has committed suicide.

An absolutely mind-blowingly, insane story has broken out from Kenya as a Manchester United fan committed suicide on Saturday after watching the Red Devils lose 1-0 at home to Newcastle.

Local police have reported that John Jimmy Macharia, aged 23, jumped to his death from the 7th floor of a building after seeing David Moyes’s team lose at home to the Magpies.

According to Nairobi County police chief Benson Kibue, Mr. Macharia told his friends he could not stand and watch the team get beaten twice in a row before he jumped to his death.

Police chief Benson Kibue told the media:

All witness accounts suggest he committed suicide because the team lost but officers are still talking to those who were with him as part of the investigations into the incident.

It is not the first time we are losing a young man because of the football in England, which is far away from us. They need to know that is just a game.
