AshantiGold has lifted the indefinite ban placed on forward Bernard Morrison.

The 22-year-old was sanctioned for allegedly disrespecting coach Bashir Hayford.

The youngster is reported to have reacted furiously to a booking received in AshGold’s FA Cup win over Wa African United on April 5.

Attempts by coach Bashir Hayford into taking down his player’s emotions were disregarded by Morrision.

The club thus felt the youngster was undermining the authority of the coach and consequently handed him the indefinite ban.

The punishment has however been lifted after the player issues a groveling apology to his coach and his colleagues.

Morrision’s place in the club’s first team has now been restored – meaning he can take part in all activities of the side including training and playing matches.
