Senegal coach Alain Giresse will not defend his squad when he names his provisional 26 man-squad on Monday, the federation has announced.
According to the Senegalese federation president Abdoulaye Sow, the traditional way of defending squad members in front of journalist will not take place this time around.
The Atlas Lions will start camping in Dakar on January 2 before they fly out to Al Jadida in Morocco for a 10-day intensive exercise.
The team will then leave for Equitorial Guinea a day before the start of the tournament on Januar 26.
