Senegal FA president Augustin Senghor is delighted with facilities at their camping base in Mongomo ahead of their Nations Cup opener against Ghana.

There were doubts about the quality of facilities in the selected venue at Equatorial Guinea ahead of the tournament.

But Senegal FA boss barrister Augustin Senghor is thrilled with the improved facilities at their camping base where they will take on Ghana and South Africa.

"The latest information from Mongomo indicate that the existing facilities have improved," he told APS

"This allows us to say that the minimum framework will be guaranteed to ensure players in terms of performance.

The Lions will have to adapt to the same conditions as their opponents in pool C. Senegal will evolve in Group C in the company of Ghana, South Africa and Algeria.

They will play their first two games in Mongomo before taken on Algeria in the final game in Malabo.
