Samuel Inkoom is returning to the Black Stars

Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom and Middlesbrough's Albert Adomah are both back in the Black Stars squad for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations after missing out since the World Cup.

Inkoom, who recently signed for MLS side Houston Dynamos, has not played for the Black Stars since the tournament in Brazil in June.

The same applies to Adomah who has been in good shape for his English second tier Middlesbrough since the global tournament in June.

But coach Avram Grant who took over the side this month has found it prudent to return the duo to the side for the competition.

The former Chelsea boss though stuck with many of those who helped Ghana qualify for the finals in Equatorial Guinea but has also recalled some familiar names .

Inkoom and Adomah will also join the squad that will begin preparations for the tournament.

Ghana have been placed in a mouth-watering Group C alongside Algeria, Senegal and South Africa.

The Black Stars will have a training camp in Spain before flying to Mongomo where they will face Group C opponents.
