2014 World Cup: The state of the Ghana team for the Brazil tournament - a fan's view
Ghana will play in the World Cup in June

With this year’s World Cup approaching, our team is getting ready to defeat the other teams from their group. Having defeated the United States during the last two World Cups, the team and the country is confident to defeat them for a third time.

If you don’t only like watching soccer, but also enjoy playing it, you can find classifieds in Ghana with the section “Community Activities”, or put your own ad, make a team, and have fun with others with same interests. The people post ads to find teammates for a soccer match, or to do many other activities.

Talking about this year’s World Cup, there is a list of possible men that will be part of the team to represent us. The coach is James Kwesi Appiah, the Ghana’s assistant manager from 2007 to 2012.

Dividing the players by their position, they will probably be:

- Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  The forwards will be Andre Ayew, player of Marseille; Asamoah Gyan , player of Al-Ain; Christian Atsu, player of Vitesse Arnhem; and Jordan Ayew, also in Marseille team.

- Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  The midfielders, Kevin-Prince Boateng and Anthony Annan, players in Schalke; Michael Essien, player of AC Milan; Derek Boateng, player of Fulham; Mohammed Rabiu, in Kuban Krasnodar; Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, playing in Udinese; Kwadwo Asamoah, player of Juventus; Sulley Muntari, player of AC Milan; and Wakaso Mubarak, currently playing in Rubin Kazan.

- Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  In the defender position, Samuel Inkoom, player of Platanias; Daniel Opare, playing at Standard Liege; Harrison Afful, player of Esperance; Isaac Vorsah, part of the Red Bull Salzburg team; John Paintsil, player of Santos;  Jonathan Mensah, playing at Evian; and John Boye, part of the Rennes team.

- Â Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚ Ã‚  As for the goalkeepers, Adam Larsen, currently playing at Stromsgodset; Daniel Agyei, player of Free State Stars; and Richard Kingson, part of the Doxa Katokopia team.

The date of the matches is already chosen, our team will have to defeat United States in June 16th, Germany the 21st, and Portugal the 26th. We will enjoy watching all the team, especially if Kevin-Prince Boateng has to play against his brother Jerome, who plays for Germany.
