2014 World Cup: Star midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah has no doubts of Ghana's progress in Brazil
Kwadwo Asamoah will be a key man for Ghana in Brazil

Juventus midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah is full of belief of Ghana’s chances of making it out of their tough group at the 2014 World Cup.

The Black Stars are up against it in Brazil having been drawn against Germany, Portugal and the USA.

Ghana have always progressed from their group ever since making their World Cup debut in Germany 2006.

Several football pundits have however predicted an early exit for the Black Stars team despite the vast quality within.

But Kwadwo Asamoah who is expected to play a leading role for the team this term in Brazil is confident the team will once more again rise to the occasion.

“I think we have to go to Brazil with belief rather than hope of advancing from the group,” Asamoah told Al Jazeera.

“It is a tough group and the matches will be difficult but we have every chance

In this is the World Cup.

“There are no easy groups or easy games. We’re fully aware of this and that’s how we’ll be playing every game.

“I always want to be the best so I always give 100 percent for both club and country when I am playing.”

Ghana will open their World Cup campaign against USA on June 16 in Natal before facing Germany and Portugal in subsequent Group G games.
