2014 World Cup: Sports Minister and Ghana FA boss leave Accra to join Black Stars camp in Arnhem

Sports Minister Elvis Afriyie Ankrah and Ghana FA President Kwesi Nyantakyi left Accra on Wednesday night to join the Black Stars camp in the Netherlands.

The Ghana squad have been preparing for the past few days in the Dutch city of Arnhem towards the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

The team will now be joined by the Sports Minister and the GFA boss by Thursday morning.

They were joined on the trip to the Netherlands by team drummer Joseph Langabel and the GFA TV crew led by Azigiza Jnr.

Ex Ghanaian player Solomon Torson was also spotted at the airport on Wednesday night catching the same flight to the Netherlands.

The Sports Minister and the GFA President will witness the Black Stars training for the first time in Arnhem on Thursday.

It will also be the first time the influential personalities will be meeting Michael Essien and Kevin-Prince Boateng since the preparations for the World Cup started last week.

The Black Stars team is expected to move to Rotterdam by Friday night ahead of their friendly match against the Dutch national team on Saturday.

Coach Kwesi Appiah will them make his final cut afterwards before the team moves camp to the USA for the final leg of the preparations.
