Ghana attacker David Accam highlighted his imperious scoring form by grabbing the consolation goal for Helsingborg IF in their 2-1 away reverse against AIK Solna in the Swedish Allsvenskan on Monday evening.

The 23-year-old slammed home a trademark powerful strike 20 minutes from time to restore parity for Helsingborg but the host resisted, persevered and laboured to victory at the Friends Arena.

Accam's impressive scoring run which has seen him bagged 9 goals in his last 10 games was evident on the evening as he constantly probed the host defence for an opening until he finally found the net in the 70th minute.

With Manchester United and other top European scouts on the attendance, Accam grabbed his goal in flamboyant style as he laced through the back of the defence and finished off with a touch of brilliance to increase his league tally to 5 goals.

With Helsingborg playing at a man's disadvantage after the 20th minute sending off of defender Carl Johansson, AIK were favoured by their numerical superiority and they took advantage of that to score three minutes from time to snatch victory.

While Accam was stealing the show with his magical scoring prowess, 2013 Ghana U20 World Cup defender Ebenezer Ofori was also in defence for the host as he played until the 79th minute.

Former New Edubiase United captain Ibrahim Moro was unused but Swedish-born Robin Quaison lasted the entire during of the game for AIK.

Ema Boateng could not make the trip with Helsingborg because of a back injury.
