Rabiu Mohammed remains disappointed Ghana didn't pick up the vital win in the thrilling draw with Germany which has now made progression for the Black Stars at the 2014 World Cup extremely difficult.

Ghana were held to a thrilling 2-2 draw by the European giants in the second Group G game played last Saturday in Fortaleza.

The Black Stars rallied from a goal down to race into a 2-1 lead to ignite hopes of an easier qualification to the next round of the tournament being staged in Brazil.

But a late equalizer from the ever-green Miroslav Klose which eventually saw the game finish 2-2 meant Ghana's qualification to the Round of 16 was out of their hands.

The result left Rabiu Mohammed massively disappointed but says he is hoping for a better result in the final group game against Portugal on Thursday.

“I had a good game but it is very sad that we drew 2-2 because we were leading at a point but we let it slip,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“We could have won this game but only God knows why he didn't give us the victory.

“We will now go and hope things go our way and we win our next match.”
