Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah wants to ‘bottle’ the quality of his players are showing ahead of Monday's 2014 World Cup opener against USA.

The Ghanaian trainer says he want to keep their fine-tuning ahead of their group G opener against the Americans on Monday June 16 in Natal.

The team touched down in Maceio on Wednesday as they carry the rest of Africa on their shoulders.

The Ghanaians have been tipped largely by bookmakers to cause an upset in the South Americana country as they did in the last two editions of the tournament in 2006 and 2010.

The team managed a comprehensive 4-0 demolishing of South Korea on Monday which followed their narrow 1-0 defeat to the Netherlands.

Coach Appiah’s says he has been impressed with the players attitude and wants to keep that ahead of the start of the tournament.

“The training session and friendly games have been extremely helpful,” he said

“The performance of the players in the last days has been good

"There are so many of them that are so keen to stake their claim so it won't be an easy choice and that's how I expected it to be.

“We hope to carry on the spirit to the World Cup.”

The Black Stars will play against old foes USA and Germany as well as Portugal in group G.
