Stromsgodset captain Adam Larsen Kwarasey is out of contract at the end of the 2014 Norwegian topflight in November.

Kwarasey guided the Drammen-based side to win last season’s Tippeligaen title but looks set to leave the club after seven years.

The Ghana goalkeeper can earn a big move if he is handed the opportunity to perform in Brazil during the mundial.

But the 26-year-old is not keen on talking about his future.

“I'm not going to the World Cup to play me to get a bigger club. I will be more proud if I get help Ghana get better results than to think about leaving for a new challenge elsewhere,” Kwarasey said.

Head coach Ron Deila has confirmed there have been preliminary talks between the club and the goalkeeper but it is unlikely a deal can be reached before the 2014 FIFA World Cup

“It is a straightforward discussion. The content of the meeting is a matter between the club and me. But I have not decided anything,” Kwarasey added.
