Norway-based goalkeeper Adam Larsen Kwarasey admits the Black Stars face a difficult task at the World Cup but remains confident of their progress.

The four-time African champions face giants Portugal, Germany and revived USA in Group at this June’s tournament in Brazil.

Ghana have advanced to the knockout stages in the last two editions of the World Cup finals played in Germany and South Africa.

Kwarasey, who is captain of Norwegian champions Stromsgodset, is defiant the 2010 quarter-finalists can go far.

“We are facing tough group. If we can go further there, we have already surprised many and then we can beat anyone in the world. We face two potential finalists in Portugal and Germany,” Kwarasey said.

Kwarasey will be named as one of the three goalkeepers for the tournament.
