Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah received his second Serie-A winner’s medal after Juventus’ 3-0 demolition of Cagliari on Sunday.

The Black Stars midfielder was once more again in full time action as the Bianconeri finished the season with a record 102 points with the win over Cagliari before their home fans at the Juventus Stadium.

The 25-year-old who arrived from Udinese two seasons ago has now won back-to-back Seria-A titles to equal the record of Sulley Muntari as the most successful Ghanaians in Serie-A.

Juventus’ planned celebrations were however cut short due to a pitch invasion by the fans.

The full squad were called out one by one to receive chants and applause from their fans.

Manager Antonio Conte was the last to emerge from the locker room before captain Gianluigi Buffon was presented with the trophy for the third successive time.

The team left the stadium but emerged later in the afternoon to hold their open-bus celebrations in the Turin township.

Asamoah will now be travelling to Ghana to join the Black Stars in their non-residential camping ahead of the 2014 World Cup.
