Hasaacas goalkeeper George Owu hoping fine form in league will help him gatecrash Ghana's squad for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Owu has been one of the key performers behind the Sekondi-based side’s impressive campaign this term.

Rumours are rife that the former Al Masry gloves man will make the provisional squad to be released

"I know I can help given the opportunity. It would be wonderful after all I have been true to get back to national level," Owu said on Accra based Happy FM

"My experience could be a thump card for the team, I have played for Kotoko been at a trial at Tothenham before the experience is there.

"We are all Ghanaians and as players we all dream of playing at the World Cup."

Owu was part of Ghana’s final man for the 2006 World Cup finals in Germany but warmed the bench.
