Renowned Takoradi-based sports journalist George Kuntu Blankson has released a list of 30 players from which Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah will pick his final World Cup squad.

The Spice 91.9FM sports presenter’s select band of players includes 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup top scorer Ebenezer Assifuah, who now plays for Swiss side FC Sion.

In-form Egypt-based striker John Antwi of Ismaily also made the squad.

John Mensah, who recently made a return to action in the Slovakian league for FC Nitra, has been tabled for consideration.

Kuntu Blankson also included home-based defenders Abeiku Ainooson, Nuru Sulley and Kwabena Edusei.

Hasaacas goalkeeper George Owu and Stephen Adams have been selected.

The veteran journalist claims he has done a lot of monitoring and with his experience; coach Appiah will not look beyond these players.
