Italy striker Mario Balotelli is backing Ghana to win against Germany in their crucial Group G match on Saturday in Fortaleza.

Ghana are facing early elimination after losing their opener 2-1 against USA in Natal on Monday.

Balotelli, who was born to Ghanaian parents in Palermo, is urging his AC Milan teammates Michael Essien and Sulley Muntari to bounce back against an impregnable Germany side.

He posted on his official Twitter page: “Come on Ghana!!!! Come on!!! @MichaelEssien @MuntariOfficial.”

Balotelli has already lighted the World Cup by scoring the match winner in the 2-1 win over England in their Group opener.

The former Manchester City player is also in the news after making a cheeky proposal as England's fate now lies in Italy's hands following Thursday's 2-1 defeat by Uruguay.

Balotelli says he would want a kiss from the Queen of England if he scores the goals that help keep England's World Cup alive.
