Ghana winger Christian Atsu heralded a strong second-half display by Vitesse Arnhem as he set up a goal for them in their 2-2 home stalemate with Go Ahead Eagles on Sunday afternoon.

The Black Stars silky player was among the bets players on the field in the match as statistics available showed his immense impact on the game.

The on-loan Chelsea attacker skirted brilliantly around the GAE defence before he laid a pass for Davy Pröpper who neatly slotted to peck the scoring.

Go Ahead strolled to a comfortable 2-0 first-half lead but Vitesse who are strongly vying for a place in the top four to secure Champions League football came strongly into the game after the break and equalised all two goals.

It was Atsu's 6th assist of the season.

The statistics of the match showed that he had the most shots on goal for his side with four attempts while he made three dribbles which was the joint top.
