Midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng says Ghana are outsiders in a tough Group G which contains Germany, Portugal and the United States.

The Black Stars, quarter-finalists at the 2010 World Cup, face a difficult campaign to better that feat at the finals in Brazil.

Boateng admits his international teammates must double efforts to sneak past Germany, his country of birth and Portugal.

“From the outside it’s obviously the Germans and Portugal,” the Schalke 04 ace told the German media.

“But we have had good moments at the world stage and we will keep our cards close to our chest.

“I must admit it won’t be easy but everything is possible.”

Boateng will join Ghana’s preparations for the World Cup in Rotterdam this weekend ahead of their friendly against Holland on 31 May.
