Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari picked up an injury while in action for AC Milan in their impressive 3-0 win over Chievo Verone on Saturday night.
The Black Stars midfielder pulled up with an ankle injury and was replaced by compatriot Michael Essien a minute to halftime.
Muntari will undergo further tests probably on Sunday to ascertain the severity of his latest injury setback.
The 29-year-oldââ¬â¢s injury however did not appear serious and may have been taken off as a precautionary measure.
The former Inter Milan man is expected to be named in Ghanaââ¬â¢s squad for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
